CORE 1, 2, 3
6th grade math will continue to work with algebra! We have had some very lengthy discussions about the difference between arithmetic and algebra! All of these new challenges are being met daily by some excited 6th grade students! This week we are working on writing and graphing inequalities. We will be starting to discuss the difference between dependent and independent variables and spend all week next week learning what they are and how we can use multiple representations (tables, graphs, etc) to display this new information.
On Thursday 2/22 we will work on an in class project using data displays to show multiple representations of the dependent and independent variables we are working with.
Beginning February 26 we will introduce the unit on Geometry!
Lunch and mornings at 7:50 a.m. are opportunities for students who are needing additional assistance to come in and get extra help or tutoring.
Students should be studying their notes and reworking problems nightly. Canvas has a wide range of videos and tools for students to get extra help as well.
